Glimpses of Grace: The Kings Speech

On Monday I went and saw the Kings Speech--the story of Bertie, who later becomes King George the VI when his brother abdicates the throne, and his speech therapist, Lionel.  Bertie feels inferior to his brother and doesn't feel able to fufill the role of king.  As he says in the film, how can he be king and speak to his people?  Lionel sees admist the brokenness of Bertie, the makings of a "bloody good king"; their friendship, which lasts life long, becomes a means of redemption.  Hidden in the insecurity and stammering speech of Bertie is revealed a man full of courage, bravery, and honor.
