It's Ash Wednesday. Somehow Lent, a time of penitence and solemn contemplation, has made it's way into popular culture. McDonald's in 2009 launched a snappy commercial with a singing bass. He now has his own Facebook page. According to Wiki, 25% of all Filet-O-Fish sandwiches are sold during Lent.
